First stop - 2:30p: Villa Serena in Conyers. This was my first time at this venue and I would love the opportunity to go back ... check out their website. http://www.villaserenaatlanta.com/ The facility could use a huge sign out front and a paved driveway, and more outdoor lighting, but I can tell they are still working on the landscaping. This was the site of Danielle Zimmerman and Jay Marlow's wedding and reception. The bride wanted me to incorporate details of her dress and veil in the cake. The groom cake was lots of fun to create .. Jay is quite the outdoorsman and loves to camp. The photographer (Shannon Wright) offered to bring home the plateau and meet with us the next day ... so we didn't have to go back to pick it up that night. Thank you, Shannon.
