Our first delivery for the day was downtown at The Trolley Barn ... it's a great venue. I think it costs about $3000 just to rent the barn (which housed the old fashioned trolleys ... which have been non-existent here in Atlanta since the 30's or 40's). Once you pay the rental fee, you then have to bring in all the vendors from cake (me), to catering, to music, floral, etc. The kicker is, YOU have to set up the tables and chairs and YOU have to clean it up at the end of the night. That can be a bummer.Alaina wanted the look of a 5-tier cake, but not the servings from a 5-tier cake. So, the top 4 fed 134 and the bottom layer was fake. Her color scheme was ivory, black, and black magic roses.
