Next stop: 4:45p Whitewater Creek Country Club (WCCC) in Fayetteville (about 1 1/2 hours south of Conyers). I thought we would never get there .....
This was the site of Nikki Craven and Alvin Jones' wedding and reception. This facility is gorgeous also and has golf course and million dollar homes all around it. Nikki wanted a tall cake, so I made her a 5-tier using a fake cake for the bottom layer; we surprised Alvin with his fraternity logo (groom cake). After setting up Nikki's cake, Clay and I were starved, so we headed to O'Charlie's for dinner and ate more than our share. We went back to WCCC to wait until after the cake cutting ceremony (for the plateau). So I crawled into the back seat, and Clay put the back down on the front seat and we slept for a couple of hours. I got up around 10:00, went in and got the plateau ... it was a long day, but a good cake day.
