As we leave the house towards Atlanta for the delivery of this 5-tier beauty for the reception of Kim Baker and David Songy .... we look at the big black sky off to the west. As we unload the truck, we hear the thunder in the distance. As I'm assembling the cake, I look out the huge windows of the Atlanta History Center Grand Overlook Ballroom to see the trees bending and twisting, hail, lightning, and lots and lots of rain. All I could think about was Kim .. did she make it to the Church before the skies opened up ???
