Clay was able to leave work a little early to help me deliver a 5-tier cake (and groom cake) to Chateau Elan (a favorite venue of mine) for the wedding of Jennifer Hamel and David Hudson. She's now ..... Jennifer Hudson (hahaha). They reside in New York, but had the reception here. There were strong winds blowing from the hurricane of that week ... causing a nice breeze for an outdoor reception. Loved this couple. The Chateau's Outdoor Pavillion is incredibly beautiful when you add twinkle lights in the ceiling and ceiling sheer drapes. Combine that with candles, beautiful centerpieces, a great DJ, and you've got one awesome reception. Jennifer modified one of my designs done a year prior to make it her own.
