I'm so thankful to Meredith Wullkotte (http://www.aremembereddetail.com/) for allowing me to experiment with daughter Raleigh's 1st birthday cake. This was a design that I had been itching to do. When not creating cakes, I sometimes dabble in floral design under the direction of Carla Duncan http://www.onoccasionsofatlanta.com/.This cake was created from a wedding centerpiece idea. It took the talents of three to create it .... I took the flat of wheat grass (provided by Carla) and cut it up ... placed the cake (provided by me) on a block to raise it .... then tucked Gerbera Daisies in the grass .... Meredith created the colorful butterfly cake decorations. I think it came out great !!!!!
