Not everything I create is for a wedding ..... birthdays / anniversaries / baby showers / bridal showers ... you name it, I'll try my best to create it.  These are the extra cakes created in the month of February.

GRAND OPENING: VENUE 92

I was honored to be asked to play an important role in the grand opening of a new venue:  Venue 92.

Venue 92 is a brand new event space where you can host life's special celebrations including weddings, corporate events, bar mitzvahs, bridal/baby showers, rehearsal dinners, and more.  Venue 92 is located only 30 miles north of Atlanta, GA in Woodstock.

This brand new space boasts 9,600 square feet on 2 levels and features lots of natural light with a contemporary look and feel. Venue 92 has a beautiful outdoor ceremony space and is able to accommodate up to 300 guests for a seated dinner.

Highlights include: polished cement floors, exposed ductwork, all-brick exterior, interior brick accents, built-in custom bar, silver chiavari chairs, natural wooded ceremony space, elegant garden complete with a 7 ft. tall fountain, huge covered cocktail space with Italian string lights, plenty of free parking and upscale  elegance outside the perimeter of Atlanta.  It is reminiscent of an elegant loft space or art gallery.

This is our first wedding of 2013.   I met Jessica back in September 2012.  We needed texture and ribbon.  So a vertical old fashioned technique was in order.  Jessica came up with the idea of using the different colored ribbons to border her cake.  I think it was beautiful.
