Sydney met with me about 15 months before her wedding day. She was an out of state bride (Texas) who was travelling alot and getting married in her home town (Atlanta).
After going through my portfolio's we decided to
tweak one of my popular scroll designs by adding a thin black ribbon at the base. Now, add hot pink floral to the top and you've got an elegant cake. (At least that is what Sydney's aunt called it ... elegant). 
The groom cake was a surprise (to the groom). It was my version of his family's sailboat ... Fiddler's Green. When Joel saw it, he was thrilled and very thankful. Especially seeing the little Beagle riding at the bow.
I've seen a sneak peak of their wedding photo's on Janet Howard Studio's blog .... gorgeous. Can't wait to see the cake photo's.
